Status and prospects of the HL-LHC project / Zerlauth, Markus (CERN) ; Brüning, Oliver (CERN)
This contribution summarizes the status of preparations and series production of key technologies for the HL-LHC upgrade project. The upgrade will be deployed in the LHC tunnel at the end of the currently ongoing third operational run of the LHC, by creating new underground areas and upgrading the existing LHC equipment, aiming to increase the data set collected by the main LHC experiments by another order of magnitude and starting operation as of 2029..

Status of the International Muon Collider Complex Study at 10 TeV / Skoufaris, Kyriacos (CERN) /International Muon Collider Collaboration
A circular muon collider, due to strong suppression of synchrotron radiation (muons are about 207 times heavier than electrons), can provide high energy (multi-TeV) collisions using fundamental (point-like) particles improving that way the energy frontiers of lepton-antilepton machines. A unique feature of muon colliders, is the significant increase of the luminosity per beam power with beam energy. [...]

Innovations in the Next Generation Medical Accelerators for Therapy with Ion Beams / Benedetto, E (Unlisted, CH) ; Vretenar, M (CERN)
Modern hadron-therapy accelerators have to provide high intensity beams for innovative dose-delivery modalities such as FLASH, pencil beams for 3D scanning, as well as multiple ions with radio-biological complementarity. They need to be compact, cheap and have a reduced energy footprint. [...]

Machine-Detector interface for multi-TeV Muon Collider / Bartosik, Nazar (INFN, Turin ; CERN) ; Calzolari, Daniele (CERN ; INFN, Padua ; Padua U.) ; Castelli, Luca (Rome U. ; INFN, Rome) ; Lechner, Anton (CERN) ; Lucchesi, Donatella (INFN, Padua ; CERN ; Padua U.) /International Muon Collider Collaboration
One of the challenges of the multi-TeV muon collider is mitigating the effects of beam-induced background. The primary contribution to this background has been identified as decay products of the muon beams. [...]

Measuring tau g-2 using ATLAS Pb+Pb collisions / Stanek-Maslouska, Weronika (DESY) /ATLAS Collaboration
At the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), relativistic heavy-ion beams generate a large flux of equivalent photons, which can lead to photon-induced reactions. By measuring the production of tau lepton pairs through photon-induced processes, it becomes possible to set constraints on the anomalous magnetic dipole moment (g-2) of the tau lepton. [...]

Studies of new Higgs boson interactions through nonresonant $HH$ production in the $b\bar{b}\gamma\gamma$ final state in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector / Jia, Zihang (Nanjing U.) /ATLAS Collaboration
A search for nonresonant Higgs boson pair production in the$b\bar{b}\gamma\gamma$ final state is performed using 140 fb$^{-1}$ ofproton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV recordedby the ATLAS detector at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. This analysis supersedes and expands upon theprevious nonresonant ATLAS results in this final state based on thesame dataset. The analysis strategy is optimised to probe anomalous values not only of theHiggs ($H$) boson self-coupling modifier $\kappa_\lambda$ but also of the quartic $HHVV$ ($V=W,Z$) coupling modifier $\kappa_{2V}$. No significant excess above the expected background from Standard Model processes is observed. [...]

Parameterization of Higgs boson STXS bins for the measurement of its self-coupling / Alves, Fabio Lucio (Nanjing U.) /ATLAS Collaboration
Higgs pair production processes provide the direct probe to the Higgs boson self-coupling ($\lambda_{3}$). However, as well known such a processes have a small production cross section. [...]

Measurements of HF-tagged jet substructure and energy-energy correlators with ALICE / Mazzilli, Marianna (Houston U.) /ALICE Collaboration
Properties of partonic fragmentation in quantum chromodynamics (QCD) depend on parton flavours in $1\rightarrow2$ splitting processes in parton showers due to the different Casimir factors of quarks and gluons, and to the different masses of light- and heavy-flavour quarks. Heavy-flavour jets provide a unique experimental tool to probe these flavour dependencies. [...]

The Transverse Momentum Dependent (TMD) Parton Branching (PB) method is a Monte Carlo (MC) approach to obtain QCD high energy collider predictions grounded in ideas originating from the TMD factorization. It provides an evolution equation for the TMD parton distribution functions (TMDs) and a framework to use those within TMD MC generators. This work focuses on the structure of the PB Sudakov form factor. Higgs physics opportunities at FCC / Li, Ang (APC, Paris) /FCC Collaboration
The discovery of the Higgs boson at the LHC in 2012 by the ATLAS and CMS experiments marked a significant milestone, subsequently elevating the measurement of Higgs boson properties to a priority within the experimental particle physics community. As of now, measurements at the LHC have including the Yukawa couplings to the third family ($t$, $b$, and $\tau$) and the Higgs boson mass. [...]
